Reaction master cylinder for hydraulic braking systems

The master cylinder has a fluid-filled working chamber with a sliding main piston (13) with an axial bore (130) containing a reaction piston. This forms a reaction chamber (15) in communication with the working chamber through a non-return valve (22) and a limiter (17) which are able to move relative to the main piston. The non-return valve and limiter are carried by a third piston (23) which is sealed in the bore and slides between two stops (131,132).
