SUBSTANCE: method for vector control of equiphase and orthophase stator currents involves measuring two-phase stator voltage and varying phases of equiphase and orthophase stator currents and rotor speed according to measured two-phase voltages and stator currents. Electric drive implementing this method has two-phase voltage sensor whose outputs are connected through integrators to sine and cosine inputs of direct and inverse Cartesian coordinate converters and to inputs of rotor speed and angular position computing unit.
