PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make washing and replenishment of water convenient in order to obtain hard water and alkaline water with one treating device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a hard water production means 200 by which stored water W is introduced to the outside of a water storage container 1 and is brought into contact with a hard water production material to produce hard water and to present it for use and an alkaline water production means 400 by which the stored water W in the water storage container 1 is partitioned with a membrane into a negative pole side and a positive pole side and an electrolytic voltage is impressed between the both poles and the stored water W at the negative pole side is changed to the alkaline water to present it for use. These respective means 200, 400 and the water storage container 1 are provided in an outer case 14 and the alkaline water production means 400 is provided so as to be attachable and detachable into the water storage container 1 from the outside of the outer case 14.
