<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and effective method corresponding to such a problem as tangential force applied to a hanging cable. SOLUTION: A suspending device is equipped with at least one hanging cable and a hanging member 14 mounted to the hanging cable by a collar 13. The hanging cable includes a bundle of strands 6 having both ends fixed to each other and pulled by load of a structure transferred from the hanging member 4 and jacket structures 10 and 12 including the strands and mounting the collar 13 to them. The jacket structures hardly transfer clamping force to the stands, and in order that the hanging member transfers load, compressive strength sufficient enough to hold tangential component of force influencing the cable by the collar is included in the direction parallel with the hanging cable. Since the strands are separately protected, they can be replaced one by one.</p> |
