PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image converting device in which any useless time is not required for a decode processing, and costs can be efficiently reduced. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an even field decode part 11 for decoding the scanning line data in the even field of compressed image data for each line, odd field decode part 12 for decoding the scanning line data in the odd field by thinning-out every other line, original image frame buffer 20 for compositing the both decode data, and storing the data as image data for one frame, black line data are setting part 32 for setting a black line data are above and under the image data read from the buffer 20, movement correcting part 31 for operating movement correction to lines equivalent to the lines in a second field, and converted image frame buffer 40 for storing image data subjected to the correction processing and to which the black line data area is set, as the image data for one frame. |
