<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain highly reliable automatic operation for a computer by postponing power interruption until a client disappears and making it possible to continuously utilize a server during the existence of the client. SOLUTION: When it arrives at power interruption time based on a schedule, a server 1 inquires a client 4 (5, 6) registered as client registration information whether the client exists on a network 7 or not, and answers of existence are not obtained from all registered clients 4 to 6, executes power interruption. When an answer is obtained, power interruption processing is waited. When the client 4 (5, 6) utilizing the server 1 exists, the power supply of the server 1 is not interrupted, so that the client can continue the processing and reliability and operability can be improved. In the case of judging power interruption, only a target client is inquired, so that useless processing is not executed.</p> |
