<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater structure and the manufacture of the water heater, and a new method for insulating the outside of the water heater. SOLUTION: This is a water heater which has a tank 28, a cylindrical jacket 36 surrounding the tank so that it may provide insulating space between itself and the tank 28, and a cover member being attached to the top of the jacket 36 so that it may close the top of the insulating space. This water heater has an insulating wall 46 in the insulating space between the tank 28 and the jacket 36. This insulating wall 46 comprises a plastic package member and walls 12 and 14 made of an insulating material being foamed on the site within this package member 10. The package is made in such a structure that it can distribute the foaming material equally within the package during the foaming process on the site.</p> |
