<p>An in ground luminaire (1) includes a sealed housing (2) closed at or adjacent one end by a first light transmitting lens (3), a light source (8) disposed in the housing, and a second light transmitting lens (14) extending across the housing between the source (8) and the first lens (3). The second lens (14) is spaced apart from the first lens (3) to attenuate the transmission of heat to the volume (20) between the first and second lens (3, 14) and reduce conductive heating of the first lens (3).</p> |
