Flow of liquid from a first chamber (A) into the second chamber (B) in the container is controlled by ensuring that the hole (D) between the first and second chambers is small. The second chamber fills first and then as the third chamber (C) next to it fills up with liquid the container`s centre of gravity changes, causing the cover to close. Cover opening time is varied by changing the hole diameter, varying liquid viscosity or altering cover angle. |
