<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication system that broadcasts to a user in an effective arrival area through a channel by using an error correction encoder, a weighted interleaver and a link limiting structure that is designed to coincide especially with channel fade statistical information which is temporally and spatially depended upon to give optimum performance. SOLUTION: An error correction encoder, a weighted interleaver and a link limiting structure which is designed to coincide especially with channel fade statistical information that is temporally and spatially depended upon to give optimum performance are used. In a communication system 10, a relay satellite 14 retransmits or broadcasts a communication signal from a ground station 12 to an effective arrival area 18 through an antenna 20. A mobile receiver 16 operating in the effective arrival area receives the communication signal through an antenna 22. The antennas 20 and 22 use a weighted link limiting technology and link limitation is matched with propagation environment that geographically changes.</p> |
