PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp the effect of exposure at the time of strobe synchronous photographing by switching the display of a display part from the display of a graph to the display of the correction amount of the emitted light quantity of the stroboscope when a charge completion detecting signal is detected. SOLUTION: When a correction amount is set to '-1' for example, by operating an exposure correction dial in the state that a bar graph '.....' meaning that manually set exposure is on an under-side by '-2', is displayed on a liquid crystal display part (a) in a strobe synchronous photographing mode, '.'meaning that a light quantity correction amount is -1, is displayed on the liquid crystal display part. By performing photometry again, the bar graph '...'is displayed (c) till completing the charge of the stroboscope so that a photographer recognizes that the exposure is on the under-side by viewing the liquid crystal display part. When a stroboscope charge completion signal is detected, '.' is displayed at a spot meaning that the correction amount is -1, on the liquid crystal display part (d) and the display is switched from the display of the bar graph to the display of the light quantity correction amount.
