<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a power closing door mechanism to a door latch device provided with a one-motion door opening mechanism. SOLUTION: This vehicle latch device has an open lever connected to an outside open handle 34, a lock mechanism for changing over to an unlocking state capable of opening a door by the open lever and a locking state incapable of opening the door, and an inner lever 38 for separating a ratchet from a latch at the time when it is connected to an inside open handle 36 to be rotated. When the inner lever 38 is rotated, the lock mechanism returns to the unlocking state. When the latch is rotated by a power closing unit, a wire lever 58 capable of rotating the latch to a full latch position is connected thereto, the power closing unit switches off the power transmission route, a canceling bar for making the wire lever 58 free is provided, the power transmission route is switched off by the rotation of the open lever, and the open lever can be also rotated by the rotation of the inner lever 38.</p> |
