<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the time delay in the case of detecting slip by obtaining a difference between an attenuation curve of a peak hold value of an ascertained gradient and a real gradient so as to compare it with the predetermined value, and in the case where the difference exceeds the predetermined value, traveling on a road surface having a low-coefficient of friction is determined, and controlling the driving force in response to this determination. SOLUTION: A gradient ascertaining means of an integrated control unit 300 ascertains the gradient of a traveling road, on which a vehicle is traveling, on the basis of the car speed among the operating condition detected by operating condition detecting means such as a water temperature sensor 106, a throttle opening sensor 108, an accelerator opening sensor 110, a brake switch 112, a car speed sensor 122, and a steering sensor 128. A difference between the attenuation curve of the peak hold value of the ascertained gradient and a real gradient is obtained by a driving force control means of the integrated control unit 300, and compared with the predetermined value, and in the case where the obtained difference exceeds the predetermined value, traveling on a road surface having a low-coefficient of friction is determined, and the driving force is controlled in response to the determination.</p> |
