PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a dielectric breakdown voltage characteristic, a bending characteristic and a sliding characteristic by uniformly covering an insulating material having a specified prescribed covering thickness in high density by constituting a covering layer of a first covering layer by spirally winding with a second covering layer braided on it. SOLUTION: A first covering layer uses glass fiber or alimina fiber, and a second covering layer desirably uses alumina fiber or glass fiber. A glass fiber layer 22 by spirally winding is arranged in a superconducting wire 10 as a first covering layer 20, and a second covering layer 24 of B work (work for covering a wire while knitting thread) by glass fiber and alumina fiber is arranged on it. The thickness of a covering layer 14 of a Figure (a) and the total covering layer thickness of these first covering layer 20 and second covering layer 24 are constituted so as to become almost equal to each other. A heat resistant temperature of 800 deg.C and dielectric breakdown voltage not less than 500 V are obtained in a covering thickness not more than 130μm by using a covered wire having a diameter of 0.06μm. |
