<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating residual substances and smoky gas generated by the incineration of waste containing chlorine. SOLUTION: Smoky gas 11 generated by incineration is supplied to smoky gas purification 12, 15 as the first gas flow 1. A residue (R', 32) generated by the incineration is treated by the second gas flow 2. The second gas flow 2 uses the smoky gas as a hydrogen chloride source. In the second gas flow 2, hydrogen chloride obtained from the smoky gas purification is supplied to the second gas flow 2, gas 2 is heated to a treatment temperature 21 necessary for the next step. Gas (2, 22) is introduced to contact the reside 32 to produce a metal chloride. An existing metal chloride and the produced metal chloride are added to volatile components to be extracted into a gas phase. Gas (2, 24) is cooled to produce a condensate (5, K) containing metal chlorides. The condensate is removed from gas 25, and gas (2, 26) is supplied to the smoky gas purification.</p> |
