<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the driving distance of ball, and also, improve a feeling in hitting a ball. SOLUTION: This golf club is equipped with a shaft 2 made of a fiber reinforced plastic, and when the bending rigidity distribution in the axial direction of the shaft 2 is approximated by a quadratic polynomial, the approximate curve indicates an increasing trend to a grip end 2b without having a peak in the middle from the tip end 2a of the shaft 2 to the grip end 2b. Also, the golf club is equipped with the shaft 2 made of the fiber reinforced plastic, and the shaft 2 is formed into a cylindrical shape, and for the shaft 2, the outer diameter is larger on the grip end 2b side than the tip end 2a side, and also, the shaft 2 may be formed in such a manner that the thickness is uniform from the tip end 2a to the grip end 2b, or the rate of change for the thickness is made uniform.</p> |
