The invention relates to a die (126) for forming a stamped piece (102), in particular for the body of a motor vehicle, comprising a generally extended surface (112) intended to come into contact with the stamped piece (102), said surface (112) comprising a portion that shapes a shoulder (130); and an ejector (146) to eject the stamped piece (102) out of the die (126). The ejector (146) is orientated so as to move the stamped piece (102) in a direction largely parallel to the mean plane of the extended surface (112). The invention also relates to a tool (106) comprising such a die (126), a press (116) intended to interact with the die (126), and a moving pinion (122) capable of interacting with the portion (130) of the die (126).
