PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for frictionally connecting a thermoplastic resin tubular member for solving a problem occurring due to generation of a bead at a connecting part at once. SOLUTION: In the method for frictionally connecting a thermoplastic resin tubular member to melt connect ends of both thermoplastic resin tubular members by a frictional band comprising the steps of butting the ends of the thermoplastic resin tubular members 1, generating the heat between the ends of both the members; jigs 3, 4 for bringing into contact with beads generated at connecting arts to melt the beads by the heat with the beads are respectively provided at an outer periphery and an inner periphery of the connecting parts of the ends of the members 1.
