<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the volume of waste and also to surely restrain the putrefaction thereof to enable the long-term preservation thereof by crushing the waste containing garbage to mix it with cement and reducing the moisture in the waste by hydration reaction of the cement to compress and form the mixture and wrapping and treating it by a resin sheet to keep it. SOLUTION: Waste containing garbage containing water is temporarily stored in a hopper 10 in advance and is crushed by a crusher 12. Then, in order to recover iron components from the crushed matter, the waste is magnetically separated by a magnetic separator 16 and in order to further recover nonferrous metals from the residue, the nonferrous metals are separated by a nonmetal separator 18. Successively, the waste is dehydrated and treated 19 to lower its water contents. Cement is fed from a cement hopper 20 is fed to the crushed waste which is pretreated like this and also they are mixed and agitated by a mixer 24 to reduce the quantity of stuck water in the waste by hydration reaction. Thereafter, the waste is formed into a cylinder or the like by a press forming machine 28 and also the formed material is wrapped with a resin sheet by a wrapping device 30 to seal it.</p> |
