FIELD: oil and gas industry, pipe-line transport of liquid and gaseous products under high pressure, laying and running of high-pressure pipe-lines with test for strength. SUBSTANCE: process consists in mounting of individual pipes by welding, in examination of welded mounting joints by nondestructive test methods and in formation of pressure on welded joints up to specified stress with the use of working medium. Process also includes endurance and pressure release. Cylindrical, hollow, elastic, leak-tight member is positioned opposite to welded joint after mounting. It is filled with working medium that is employed to form pressure of member on welded joint or local section of pipe-line. Welded mounting joint is examined by nondestructive testing methods after pressure release. Technical result lies in filling with working medium not of entire multikilometer section of pipe-line but of cylindrical, hollow, elastic, leak-tight member only which makes it feasible to diminish considerably expenses on testing of welded mounting joints for strength and to simplify testing process considerably. EFFECT: diminished expenses on testing of welded joints for strength.
