PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION OF CROSS-LINKED PROTEIN CRYSTAL AND METHOD FOR USING ABOVE PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION AS CATALYST IN ORGANIC SOLVENT

PURPOSE: An application of biocatalyst for a selective chemical reaction includes a pharmaceutical preparation of cross-linked protein crystals and a use of the pharmaceutical preparation as a catalyst for optimizing the industrial chemical reaction in an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION: The pharmaceutical preparation of cross-linked protein crystals provides a protein with activity at least about 1.7 to 90 times higher than the activity of a crude or pure protein of the equivalent quantity in a mixture of an aqueous solvent and an oil solvent. The preparation contains about 10 to 70 wt.% of a surfactant selected from an anionic surfactant, a cationic surfactant and a non-ionic surfactant.
