PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an immunogen compound for the treatment of AIDS, etc., by including an oligonucleotide sequence for the amplification of a nucleic acid sequence having specificity to HIV-type human immunodeficiency virus or SIV-type simian immunodeficiency virus. SOLUTION: The objective immunogen compound useful e.g. as a composition for the treatment of viral diseases, especially AIDS is produced by including a translation product of (A) one or more nucleotide sequences included in the gag, vpr and pol genes of HIV-type human immunodeficiency virus such as HIV-1 Bru, Mal, Eli and HIV-2 ROD and simian immunodeficiency virus such as SIV MAC nef2, vif2 and vpx genes of HIV-2 ROD and SIV MAC viruses or env, nef1, vif1 and vpr genes of HIV-1 Bru, Mal and Eli viruses and/or (B) amplified nucleotide sequences of the above sequences A. |
