摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a thin-film solar battery, whose work time is short without the occurrence of laser work damages in an electrode on a substrate, and to provide the thin solar battery of structure suitable for such work. SOLUTION: In this battery, a plurality of back electrodes formed of unit solar batteries where first electrodes 1a, photoconductive conversion layers P and second electrodes 2a, fourth electrodes 4a connected to the second electrodes 2a and third electrodes 3b which are connected to the first electrodes 1a of the adjacent unit solar batteries through collecting holes H2 and connection holes H1, which pass through the substrate are installed on both faces of the insulating substrate S. The unit solar batteries are connected in series. In such a case, the third electrodes 3b are separated and individualized by separation lines L2. A part of the separation lines L2 and a part of the separation lines L2, which separates and individualizes the unit solar battery and separates and individualizes the first electrodes, have facing parts in same positions by sandwiching the substrate. The fourth electrodes 4a cover a part of the facing parts of the separation lines L1 of the third electrodes 3b.
