OVERLAY APPARATUS WITH CD-G REGENERATION PICTURE AND EXTERNAL VIDEO

PURPOSE: An overlay apparatus with CD-G(Compact Disk Graphic) regeneration picture and external video is provided to operate the karaoke system with a simple apparatus by overlaying a graphic picture regenerated at CD-G disk with an external video. CONSTITUTION: A synchronous signal separation part(10) separates a video synchronous signal from an external video. A decoder(20) decodes a video regenerated from CD-G disk. A first phase synchronous loop part(30) generates a sub carrier synchronized by the video synchronous signal. A delay part(40) synchronizes a color phase of an external video signal and an internal video signal. A second phase synchronous loop part(50) generates a pixel clock synchronized by the video synchronous signal. An encoder(60) generates TV color signal and outputs as an internal video. A switching signal generator(70) processes pixel data (R,G,B) and generates the result as switching control signal. A video switching part(80) overlays the internal video signal with the external video and outputs the internal video signal as a video signal.
