RUBBER-MODIFIED ASPHALT PAVING BINDER

Disclosed is an asphalt paving binder composition comprising asphalt cement, crumb rubber and polyoctenamer, the binder composition may be produced by adding the crumb rubber and the polyoctenamer while the asphalt cement is heat liquefied. The binder composition is useful in preparing an asphalt paving composition by mixing with an aggregate material. The polyoctenamer may crosslink the asphalt cement with the crumb rubber.
