REFUSE INCINERATION EXHAUST GAS PURIFYING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain a purified state of exhaust gas where dioxins are reduced to extremely low level through high temperature decomposition by throwing an alkaline agent into a duct for introducing exhaust gas from the outlet of a dust collector to a combustor. SOLUTION: Refuse 1 and air 2 are thrown into an incinerator 3 and combusted at about 900 deg.C to generate refuse combustion exhaust gas 4 containing soot, hydrocarbon, dioxins and precursors thereof (typical substance is polychlorophenol). The refuse combustion exhaust gas 4 flows through the duct 3a of an incinerator 3 into a temperature regulator 5 where the temperature of the exhaust gas 4 is lowered to a level suitable for a dust collector 7 disposed in the downstream of the temperature regulator 5. Exhaust gas 8 from the outlet of the dust collector is passed through an exhaust gas duct 9 by means of a fan 10 and fed to a combustor 11 and an alkaline agent 30 is injected by means of a pump 33 into the exhaust gas duct 9 through an injection opening 31 and an injection nozzle 32 provided in the duct 9.
