摘要

FIELD: tyre industry; production of radial-ply large-sized and superlarge-sized tyres. SUBSTANCE: proposed band builder is designed for building type P pneumatic tyres with provision of independent rotation of device from rotation of drive shaft with forming drum, synchronous rotation of housing and drive of extensible sectors at moment of application of layers and simplification of design. Pneumatic tyre band builder has drive shaft 2 with forming drum mounted on base 1 and housing 5 with fitted on radially extensible sectors 8 installed concentrically relative to drum 3. Sectors 8 have drive to provide their expanding and folding and rotation together with housing 5 made in form of axially movable bushing 12 connected with sectors 8 by levers 13 and gear wheels mounted on housing 5 and engaging with gears of drive installed on base 1. Housing 5 is installed on cylinder 4 on bearings. Cylinder 4 is rigidly secured on base 1. Gear wheel 10 is rigidly secured on housing, and hear wheel 14 is installed on housing for rotation and is furnished with treaded bushing 16 engaging with thread on outer surface of axially movable bushing 12. Gear wheels 10 and 14 are in meshing with gears 11 and 15, gear 11 can be braked. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
