<p>A pneumatic tire, wherein sipes (24) twisted by a specified angle from a surface part (28) to a bottom part (30) are provided in a block (18) formed in the surface of a tread, small blocks (18a to 18d) are rotated by a ground contact pressure applied to a tread surface (26) so as to bring adjacent small blocks into contact with each other with a strong force, whereby the small blocks (18a to 18d) are suppressed from being fallen down, the ground contact area of the tread surface (26) is increased, and ice surviving performance is increased and, because a torque (SAT) to return to an original shape is generated by the rotation of the small blocks (18a to 18d), an SAT generated by steel cords can be suppressed.</p> |
