<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength and productiviy of a shaft for anisotropic golf clubs and to reduce its weight. SOLUTION: This shaft is provided with one set or plural sets of angle layers each consisting of a first angle layer 1A and second angle layer 1B inclined in fiber angles to directions opposite to each other at an angle of 20 to 35 deg. with the axis of the shaft as a fiber reinforced resin layer. The first angle layers and the second angle layers are wound 1.5 rounds without being divided in one round or less at the cross-section of the shaft. The positions of the beginning of winding of the first angle layers and the second angle layers are offset 180 deg. from each other. The cross-section of the shaft is provided with a section 11A where two layers of the first angle layers and one layer of the second angle layer are laminated and a section 11B where one layer of the first angle layer and two layers of the second angle layers are laminated. The lamination constitution of the angle layers of these two sections is varied.</p> |
