PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply execute a pseudo normal test, without the need for modification of the hardware by providing a pseudo normal test operating section that generates a pseudo abnormal transmission signal to confirm whether or not a check circuit of a receiver is normally in operation under the software control to a pre-stage or a post-stage of a transmission element. SOLUTION: A software program issues an instruction for making a pseudo normal circuit 20 operate. The software instruction is analyzed and expanded based on an address and a data signal, the pseudo normal circuit 20 is selected through a signal from an address line, and whether or not the pseudo normal circuit 20 is operated is selected by a signal of a data line. A signal to select the pseudo normal circuit 20 and a signal for selecting the operation on/off are stored in a flip-flop of an instruction storage section, in response to a write timing from a processor. A pseudo normal operating section 300 operates the selected pseudo normal circuit 20. The selected pseudo normal circuit 20 conducts a pseudo normal operation, selects one kind of instruction such as input signal logic inversion and outputs the selected instruction to an input section of the transmission element 30.
