PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection surface having a shape to have a required light distribution pattern by determinating a pass line corresponding to a crossing line between the reflection surface and a reference flat surface based on a light distribution characteristic, and determinating a profile curve passing through an extracted point on the pass line and corresponding to the shape of the reflection surface. SOLUTION: In consideration of a virtual screen ahead of a reflection mirror, a stipulated light distribution characteristic is stipulated by a corresponding relationship between a position of a reflection point on a cross line between a reference flat plane cutting a required reflection plane and the virtual screen and a position of an image projected on the virtual screen by light reflected at the reflection point. Based on the light distribution characteristic, a pass line corresponding to or substantially corresponding to a cross line between the required reflection plane within the reference plane and the reference plane. A profile curve passing through a plurality of extraction points distributed in the pass line and corresponding to the shape of the required reflection plane is determined, based on the light distribution characteristic, for each of the extraction poins. Based thereon, the shape of the reflection surface of the reflection mirror is determined. |
