PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency notifying device which recognizes the crew members of a vehicle, stores the personal information on every member and transmits these personal information to the outside in an emergency. SOLUTION: This device includes an individual recognizing part 30 which detects the fingerprints of crew members of a vehicle, a fingerprint data storage part 53 which stores the fingerprint data on the registered crew members, a fingerprint collation application software 33 which identifies the detected fingerprint data with the information stored in the part 53 and a personal information data storage part 51 which stores the personal information including the height, weight, age, sex, blood type, a person or persons to be informed of an emergency privately such as the family and the office staff, the family hospital, etc., and also the medical information including the clinical history, electrocardiogram, etc., of every crew member. In an emergency such as the occurrence of an accident, the personal or medical information is transmitted to the outside of the vehicle via a transmitter 60 and used for the medical activities.
