<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to automatically measure the running directions of the blood vessels and to allow measurement light to surely move along the running directions of the blood vessels. SOLUTION: A system control section 47 detects the running directions of the blood vessels always, compares the manipulation direction of a fixation target movement input means 49 and the running directions of the blood vessel and determines the running directions of the blood vessels nearest this manipulation direction as a moving direction of the measurement light. Further, the system control section 47 moves a dark inversion section so as to comply with the traveling of the blood vessels in the determined direction. As a result, the fixation target image D' moves along the running directions of the blood vessels on the eyeground Ea and guides the eye E to be examined, thereby eventually scanning the top of the blood vessel Ev. The positional error of the fixation target image D' with respect to the running directions of the blood vessels and the deflection of the eye E to be examined are absorbed by blood vessel tracking, by which measurement light is exactly moved on the blood vessel Ev. This processing is repetitively carried out and the normal measurement is carried out by stopping the movement of the measurement light in a place where good measurement is possible.</p> |
