<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club which does not generate a stress concentration on the shaft, and at the same time, can hit a ball while sufficiently making the best of a warpage of the shaft. SOLUTION: This golf club is equipped with a head 2 having a crown section 2a and a sole section 2b, and a shaft fixing hole 6 which can fix the tip end section of a shaft 4 to the head. At the tip end section of the shaft, a larger diameter section 14 disposed at a section of the shaft located on the sole section side under a state wherein the tip end section of the shaft is inserted in the shaft fixing hole, and a thinner diameter section 16 which is disposed on a section of the shaft located on the crown section side, and of which the diameter is made thinner than the larger diameter section, are formed. In the shaft fixing hole, a fixing section 8 which fixes the larger diameter section of the shaft to the head, and a non-fixed section 10 which is disposed to be away by a specified distance D from the external surface of the thinner diameter section of the shaft, are constituted.</p> |
