<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stop device provided with a reliable, simple, and secure mechanical holding device for holding a door at an opened position. SOLUTION: A door stop 20 holds a door 14 at an opened position. The door stop 20 is provided with a first member 24, it is installed on the door 14, it has a slot 40, and an inclination part 46 is formed at one end part of the slot 40. A link member 28 is installed on a metal fitting in a rotatable condition. A follower part 26 is installed on an end part of a link, and it slides along the slot 40 in the guide member 24. The follower part 26 slides to the inclination part 46 when it slides along the slot 40 in one direction, and it is engaged with a sharp tip part of the inclination part 46 when it slides in the other direction.</p> |
