PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield plate that reduces the effect of electromagnetic waves down to a permissible level so as to protect an electric device against the electromagnetic waves. SOLUTION: This shield plate P interrupts a direct electromagnetic waves EMW emitted from an undesired radiation source S and directly reaching a protected part R or an indirect electromagnetic wave reaching the protected part R through reflection or diffraction so as to reduce undesired radiation. The shield plate P is placed between the undesired radiation source S and the protected part R to interrupt the direct electromagnetic wave EMW. Or the shield plate P may has a main body, a ceiling plate that is extended from an upper end of the main body to interrupt the direct electromagnetic wave EMW and part of the indirect electromagnetic wave, and a side plate that is extended from the side end of the main body to interrupt the direct electromagnetic wave EMW and part of the indirect electromagnetic wave.
