PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the normality of image display when an object operated by a player collides another object by setting plural viewpoints in virtual three- dimensional space and appropriately switching them to display an object projected on a two-dimensional plane. SOLUTION: A preview is started (step S1), and when it is detected that a racing car as an object collides with a course wall (step S5), switching of a viewpoint coordinates is performed (step S6). When the display of the preview is over and a game is carried out (step S7), an arithmetic processing part reads polygon data from a ROM (step S8), converts them into two-dimensional plane polygon data (step S9), pastes texture, generates image data for one picture by sorting them in a depth direction and stores them in a video memory. And, the image data in the video memory are successively read and a game picture is displayed (step S10). |
