<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an image pointing operation without using a mouse or a pen. SOLUTION: The speed a user moves a main body is calculated according to an output of an acceleration sensor provided in a portable data processor (32). A display screen is enlarged or reduced (35 and 36) when it is moved back and forth, a folder or a file indicated by an icon displayed in the center of the screen is opened when a magnification ratio reaches a prescribed value in a magnification mode, and an opened folder or file is closed when a reduction ratio reaches a prescribed value in a reduction mode (100). When it is moved horizontally or vertically (37), an image is scrolled in the moving direction (200). When a button provided in the main body is singly clicked, the preceding magnification, reduction or scroll operation is repeated one time, and when the button is subjected to double click, the preceding magnification or reduction operation is continuously repeated until the prescribed magnification or reduction ratio is obtained.</p> |
