PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a region of interest to be easily displayed by changing, especially rotating, the orientation of an image to determine an average contour in a two-dimensional image by a marking means and to demarcate the three- dimensional area of an image with a direction along the whole image and displaying the demarcated three-dimensional area of the image. SOLUTION: Image data of an object O which can be obtained by an imaging system 2 are given to a processing/reproducing device 5 with an image processor 6 and an instruction monitor 7. Control means such as a mouse 8, track ball 12, etc., to move a marking displayed on the instruction monitor 7 are equipped on the image processor 6. Two whole images G1, G2 are displayed on the instruction monitor 7 to display the three-dimensional test range of the imaged object O and marking means M1, M2 in a shape of lines to form a rectangle are superposed. The range of interest is extracted from a data set of the whole image of the imaged three-dimensional test area and imaged in the mode of the image B. |
