PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce uneven brightness of a light-emitting surface due to projecting pieces to fix the light transmission plate to a chassis. SOLUTION: Almost rectangular plate-shaped projecting pieces 1a, projecting from both side faces 10 of the wedge-shaped plate, are formed on the light transmission plate 1 on the side of an end face 14 (the thin width side) opposite to a light introducing plane 13 (the thick width side). The projecting pieces 1a are included in the opposite end face 14 and protrude from the side faces 10 with the same thickness as the thin width side. Because the projecting pieces 1a are formed at the farthest positions from the light introducing plane 13, light quantity passing the projecting pieces 1a is little and a dark region is not produced. |
