<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively cut electric wire covering to satisfactorily strip the covering, regardless of the material of the covering and the depth of cut by an edged tool. SOLUTION: An electric wire covering stripper is provided with a drive gear 1 coupled directly with a motor 7, a main gear 2 to which driving force is transmitted from the drive gear 1, a cam gear 3 engaged with the main gear 2 by clearance fit, a rotation braking gear 4 engaged with the cam gear 3, a disk 5 secured on the cam gear 3 with set screws 20, a cutter 6 provided with a substantially circular edged tool 6a and a shaft 6b, and a stopper 13 secured on the disk 5 with a fixing screw 14. The edged tool 6a of the cutter 6 is a substantially circular plate with the end face of the circumference inclined. A notch 6aa without an edged tool is formed in an area on the end face of the circumference in the circumferential direction.</p> |
