<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifying method capable of easily separating impurities such as In, Sn and Cu from a soln. contg. Ga at a low cost prior to an electrolytic extraction of Ga and suitably applicable even to the leach liq. of Ga compd. scrap or the like. SOLUTION: This method uses a Ga-contg. soln. contg. In, Sn and Cu as impurities as a soln. to be purified, and the soln. preferably maintained at 60 to 100 deg.C is cooled preferably to <=20 deg.C in the presence of at least either ions of AsO43- ions and PO43- ions and Na+ ions to produce crystals contg. impurity elements, and this crystals are subjected to solid-liq. separation to obtain a Ga-contg. soln. freed from impurities. Moreover, the crystals are cleaned to recover Ga adhered to the crystals. The Na+ ions in the soln. are allowed to exist by >=100 g/l, and as for the PO43- ions and As43- ions, at least either is allowed to exist at a degree exceeding the solubility in a crystallizing stage.</p> |
