摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in angle measuring accuracy caused by transmitting/receiving a wide-band chirp signal from an antenna whose beam direction changes according to a frequency. SOLUTION: A bandwidth is represented by dF wherein a deviation in a beam orientation due to frequency displacement in an antenna 1 is sufficiently smaller than a beam width. By splitting a chirp signal of bandwidthΔF for providing desired distance resolution into n chirp signals with a smaller bandwidth than dF on a time base, a split chirp signal generating portion 4 outputs pulses one by one, so that no detrimental deviation in the beam orientation is caused. On the other hand, a bandwidthΔF of chirp signal is equivalently received on a receiving side by adding in a signal adding portion 10 at specified time delay intervals the split received chirp signals inputted into a signal recording portion 9, so that the desired distance resolution can be provided without deterioration of angle measuring accuracy due to beam characteristics of the antenna 1.</p>
