PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior auto door operating apparatus which is downsized such that an auto door can be set in a room of an apartment or a wooden house, is inexpensive, and further can use an existing door frame member as it is. SOLUTION: A rail 4 has a long body with an almost U-shaped cross section, which extends in the direction of A or B. The long body has a through hole bored at a predetermined location thereof, in an almost central portion of a side wall 5a on an internal side 5 of the long body, and an output shaft of a driving portion 7 is arranged at the through hole. On the other hand, the main body of the driving portion 7 is arranged on an external side 9 of the rail 4, whereby only the output shaft of the driving portion 7 is arranged on the internal side 5 of the rail 4. Further, each of erected poles 3a, 3b has a marginal space in a direction of W, and therefore not only the output shaft of the driving portion 7 but also the longitudinal direction of the main body of the same can be arranged at right angles with respect to a direction of movement of movable members 6a, 6b, i.e., with respect to the longitudinal direction of the rail 4. |
