APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PICKING UP TOMOGRAPHIC IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image distortions by compositingly processing a plurality of partial images obtained by a plane radiation detector and directly obtaining tomographic images. SOLUTION: A radiation irradiation device 120 irradiates an object E to be inspected with radioactive rays from a plurality of positions on a plane set upside the object E. Many plane radiation detectors 130 are set to form a circumference downside a load table 110. The plane radiation detectors 130 output a plurality of partial images of the radiation passing the object E as electric image signals. An image-processing part 140 consisting of a frame grabber 144 and a computer 142 compositingly processes the partial images obtained by many plane radiation detectors 130 and obtains a tomographic image of a desired section.
