DEVICE FOR REDUCING CONTACT FORCE VARIATIONS BETWEEN A CURRENT COLLECTOR AND A CATENARY

PURPOSE: A device for reducing contact force variations between a current collector and a catenary is provided for reducing low and high frequency contact force variations between a current collector of an electric traction vehicle having a bow and a catenary by regulating the contact force. CONSTITUTION: In the area of the bow (10), an actuator (13) affected by a self-adjusting regulator is placed enabling direct or indirect transmission to the contact strip (11) of an actuating force dependent on the course of operation occurring in addition to a predetermined static pressure force and acting in opposite direction of the contact force variations.
