The hearing aid has a microphone system (2) with at least two microphones (3,4) connected to an amplifier circuit. The sound inlet opening of at least one microphone is directed laterally w.r.t.. the head of the wearer of the hearing aid. One microphone can be arranged in the direction of view of the wearer. - Another microphone can be arranged behind and at a distance (a) to the first microphone. The sound inlet (7) of the first microphone can be in the direction of view and that (5) of the second microphone approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (8) of the microphone system.
