<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for quickening power source disconnection and re-start, and for improving the reliability of data on a main memory at the time of disconnecting the power source while maintaining the state of a microprocessor. SOLUTION: A re-start instruction is issued from a stop and start control switch 8 from a waiting state at the time of cold start by using a non-volatile main memory 3, and the re-start of processing is instructed from a stop and start controller 4 at the time of hot start. When the inside state of the microprocessor 1 is maintained by the microprocessor 1, the processing is resumed from the state, and when a stop instruction is issued from the stop and start control switch 8 at the time of the generation of the abnormality of the power source, the microprocessor 1 stops the processing by the stop and start controller 4.
