PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insulin resistance-releasing agent that can enhance the sensitivity to insulin by using edible carrot juice enhanced with antioxidative vitamin E, C and natural carotenoid as well as Siberian carrot juice. SOLUTION: This insulin-resistance-releasing agent includes (A) >=0.01 wt.% of antioxidant vitamin E, (B) >=0.25 wt.% of vitamin C, (C) >=0.03 wt.% of edible carrot juice enhanced with natural carotenoid and (D) >=0.5 wt.% of Siberian carrot juice. This insulin resistance releasing agent is useful for improving the insulin resistance of the patients with insulin resistance as well as improving the insulin resistance in the diabetic patients with the resistance to insulin. |
