PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching circuit wherein a withstand voltage is large, a switching speed is high, timing delay is little, and power loss is small, an amplifying circuit wherein a withstand voltage and an amplification factor are large and distortion and power loss are little, etc. SOLUTION: An emitter E, a high voltage collector CH and a low voltage collector CL are constituted of N-type regions. A yield voltage between the high voltage collector CH and a base B is higher than a yield voltage between the low voltage collector CL and the base B. The base B is constituted of a P-type region. The positive pole of a DC power source is connected with the low voltage collector CL through a load, and the negative pole is connected with the emitter E. When a control voltage is applied to the base B and higher than a value determined by a current flowing in the part between the high voltage collector CH and the base B, a current flows in the load. When the low voltage collector CL is connected with the high voltage collector CH through a resistor RF, and the positive pole of the DC power source is connected with the low voltage collector CL through a resistor RL, a current wherein a signal to be supplied to the base B is amplified flows in the resistor RL. |
